Updating viral agents in tomato seeds with new generation diagnostic technologies

The aim of this study is to identify and update the list viral pathogens in tomato seeds, which plays an important role for our country's economy, control, on behalf country, factors like TYLCV PepMV, were thought not be existing past but determined by new sensitive methods recent years. It also aim, if PepMV are found, share findings with necessary institutions needs tested, quarantine lists. Two hundred thirty-eight seed samples used study. Serological molecular order samples. different varieties tested prove possible existence Tobacco mosaic tobamovirus (TMV), Tomato (ToMV), Cucumber cucumovirus (CMV), yellow leaf curl geminivirus (TYLCV), spotted wilt tospovirus (TSWV), Pepino potexvirus (PepMV), Pepper mild mottle (PMMoV), brown rugose fruit (ToBRFV) as a result 12% seeds founded infected TMV, 23% ToMV 8% CMV. Within scope it was seen that some have mixed infections. Sixty-seven 238 has been found This rate 28% at least one pathogen.
